  Today, Monday April 10, 2017, I needed to call Riverside Hospital. I could not. I let the phone ring a total of 43 minutes without answer. This is just not right. "We're busy", will be the excuse. I think a real nice Sentera would be nice

  Some of the staff and doctors are very nice people while others care less about the patients. My mother went to the ER with blood clots in her legs and despite telling the doctor about her life long blood disorder and that she knew when clots were present the doctor told her she didn't have clots. he also told her that the venous doppler scan she needed to properly diagnose her was only available during the day because they did a budget cut and that they cut that procedure as part of their cut. He sent her home on his diagnosis. thank God my mother is aware of her body and symptoms of her illness or she would have died. By 5am she was back in the ER with the clots broken up from her leg and in to her lungs. This place should be more of a urgent care place than a hospital because they are obviously not equipped to handle serious illnesses and the doctors, or at least that one wasn't intelligent enough to know she was in dire need of emergency help and had no concern over her well being. Another time she went in pain the doctor told her she had..are you ready for this one? "PHANTOM PAINS". Told her that when people are stressed out their body will give false pains. My mother has had this same pain in her side for a couple years and nobody does a thing to investigate it . I think if a person is in pain they know they are in pain and it's not something in their head like they are just crazy or something. But this hospital is not the only place with doctors and people that take their patients for granted and send them home with false diagnosis or without proper treatment. ever since my mother moved to Virginia she has yet to find one doctor there that knows what he's doing and her overall health has gone to hell and came extremely close to death 4 times, one misdiagnosis that ended up being cancer,one prescribed medicine that would have killed her and the clot incident and another doctor refusing to prescribe her blood thinners saying she didn't need them anymore because her blood level was fine and that landed her in the hospital with more clots. I'm moving her out of that state before they kill her. P.S. Don't respond telling me the same thing you tell everybody else, to call Jackie.
